How to integrate a custom AI code assistant to your IDE :

🔴 You are not required to connect to GitHub at any point. You can always bypass it (opening the browser link then exiting, grey continue button …)

🥇 VScode user : 🏅

Go to VScode marketplace and search for Continue extension (by continue.dev).
Install it.

Once Continue is installed, the Continue logo should appear on your Activity Bar. Click on it.
You may want to restart your VScode if it is not present.
If a “Sign in to Github “ message appears, you can select “Cancel”.

Now select Local models and click on “Continue”.
Don’t mind the “Ollama” recommendations and click on Continue again. MIGHT NOT APPEAR : JUST SKIP TO THE NEXT BULLET POINT
